Beware of Amazon scam call

Amazon impersonation scam

A number of members have reported receiving calls falsely purporting to be from Amazon, where the caller is trying to get account or card details. This is a common phishing scam across the UK and US and is now targeting Australians.

If you receive a suspicious call, email or text claiming to be from Amazon which asks for personal information, a payment, or offers a refund you don’t expect, please do not share any personal information and hang up immediately.
