Assistance for members affected by the floods

At Sydney Mutual Bank, supporting our members and communities in times of need is part of our mission and we are here to help members who have been affected. Members who are directly impacted by the floods may be eligible for specific disaster relief assistance.

CEO Mark Worthington said that 'We are urging our members in need of assistance to contact us so that we may be able to help them and assess their eligibility as quickly as possible'.

The disaster relief assistance provides:

  • the opportunity to suspend repayments for up to three months for members with a home loan or personal loan
  • a waiver for late fees on home or personal loan repayments
  • a waiver on personal loan establishment fees as well as term deposit break costs
  • a waiver of fees for debit replacement cards

Members who need assistance should call 13 61 91 (Mon - Fri: 8am - 7pm, Saturday: 8.30am - 11.30am).
