North Ryde Branch Closure Notice

Online and mobile banking use is becoming increasingly preferred over in-branch interactions, and this situation has been exacerbated by Covid-19 in reduced branch traffic and much reduced branch cash transactions. The result is that in order for us to remain price competitive for all members, we need to reduce our branch network and reduce the payments we make to our branch landlords.

This means that effective 12 October 2020, the North Ryde branch will reduce its days of operation to two days per week (Monday & Tuesday) until 24 December 2020 when the branch will be permanently closed. The current staff member will be redeployed to another member service role.

The following services remain available to members:

  • Our digital wallets, mobile app, internet banking and phone banking are all available for you to bank at any time.
  • Our Web Chat and expanded Contact Centre Team will continue to be available Mon to Fri 8am to 7pm and Sat 8.30am to 11.30am.
  • Our Mobile Bankers/Lenders can still meet you at a time and place that suits you.

Should you need to be able to deposit or withdraw cash, you are able to use any Australia Post office that offers the Bank@Post facility. The closest Australia Post office to the North Ryde Branch is located at Shop 15 203-213 Coxs Road, North Ryde, NSW, 2113.

Our aim is to ensure that we have price competitive and relevant products available for all members, and we will do this in large part by managing our branch operating expenses. Our changing operating model will realise less branches though more contact centre staff (who are not offshored, they are all based in Australia), and we do not intend to compulsorily reduce employee numbers.

If you have any questions or you need any assistance, please call the team on 13 61 91.
